This artist is not referenced yet, but the pictorial technique could make date this miniature of the beginning of the XIXth century. On the lapel of the ivory is specified in French : "Reine Louise de Prusse.....du portrait authentique appartenant à S.A.S (son Altesse Sérénissime) Mme la Princesse de Ratibor " ( Queen Louise of Prussia ....of the authentic portrait belonging to S.A.S.(Most Serene Highness) Princess de Ratibor) Duchess Louise of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (Louise Auguste Wilhelmine Amalie; 10 March 1776 – 19 July 1810) was Queen of Prussia, as the wife of King Frederick William III. The couple's happy, though short-lived, marriage produced nine children, including the future monarchs Frederick William IV of Prussia and German Emperor Wilhelm I. TECHNIQUE:
