Caen Fine Arts museum : Marie-Gabrielle Capet Exhibition from June 14th until September 21th 2014

December 6th, 1925 disappeared from cymas of the museum of Caen, Jean Antoine Houdon's portrait sculpturing the bust of Voltaire, the masterpiece of the french mininiaturist Marie Gabrielle Capet (1761-1818).

This work reappeared in 2012 has just re-entered its place to the museum.

Around this found miniature, the exhibition suggests collecting signifiant group of Marie gabrielle capet's works : miniatures, pastels, paintings, coming from public and private , french and foreign collections;
