COLMAR, UNTERLINDEN MUSEUM : exhibition JEAN-JACQUES KARPFF
EXHIBITION
For the first time, the Unterlinden museum of Colmar dedicates a retrospective exhibition to the draftsman and miniaturist Jean-Jacques Karpff. Native of Colmar, this pupil of Jacques-Louis David, who played a role determining for the development of arts in his home town, appears among the most subtle portrait painters of his time.
The Galery Jaegy-Theoleyre is happy to parcipate to this event and at this occasion, several miniatures from the collections will be exhibited.
