Dated 1831, Julia would be 18 years old when she realized this fine portrait (age specified on another miniature by her dated 1831). We well recognize of this work, the maner and the style of her father and master Pierre-Édouard Dagoty. Signed and dated to the right : Julia Dagoty 1831 We knew until this day only 3 works signed by Julia : - portrait of a man, signed and dated 1831 - a miniature signed and dated on 1832, appeared in the exhibition Vienna 1905 -Portrait of an abbot a signed and dated 1837, sale Schidlof 1921.
