DESCRIPTION :

Portrait of princess Marie Clémentine Léopoldine Caroline Clotilde of Orléans, title : Mademoiselle de Beaujolais (1817-1907). Daughter of  king Louis Philippe, latter she married  duke Auguste of Saxe-Cobourg-Kohary.

 

The princess is painted here by Jean-Baptist Mulnier at the age of 19 (thus in 1836, year of the death of the artist). It is specified on reverse that this work was kept  in the private collection of the artist, and inside the miniature, that it comes from his succession.


CONDITION: Very good original condition. A tiny losts lower right
