Miniature signed Machera 1826 on left border.

Portrait named on back as the one of Adolphe Thiers (1797-1877). In 1826 Thiers arrived in Paris 5 years before, at this time he is close to Talleyrand, supporter of a parliamentary monarchy of the English type. He began his journalistic and political carrer at this time.


CONDITION: Very good original condition. Humidity point in right backgroud and on left border. A lost in one ormulu corner
