DESCRIPTION :

Miniature by Édouard Fechner (1799-1861), signed on the left : Fechner.

Portrait of a little boy, the head leaning to the left, kept on his original bracelet clasp, in solid gold, forming leafy foliage. The bracelet is closed by 10 rows of freshwater pearls, gold clasps punched.

Édouard Fechner was a painter, miniature painter and engraver. He studied at Dresden with Grassi. In 1825 he settled in Paris
