Pair of two-sided miniatures, painted on porcelain: flowers in a basket and river allegory, signed under the basket : Mise. (marchioness) de Grollier.

 Charlotte Eustache Sophie de Fuligny-Damas (1741-1828), married Pierre Louis de Grollier, Marquis de Grollier and Treffort Grollier, on February 20, 1760. It was under the name of Marquise de Grollier that she was known. Aristocrat and French painter, pupil of Jean-Baptiste Greuze and Gérard van Spaendonck, great friend of Madame Vigée Le Brun, she was considered in her time as a great specialist of flowers (nicknamed the Raphaël des fleurs).
