DESCRIPTION :

Empire portrait of a young man in red vest, combed " à la noyade" ("in the drowning "), in an important gold pendant, double face.

Miniature by Jean-François Marie Villiers Huet (1772-1813), maybe of his English period, as the artist left Paris for London from 1803.


CONDITION: Very good original condition. Cleaned by Dr. Bernd Pappe.
