DESCRIPTION :

Large Empire miniature, showing a smiling young woman holding a portrait on her knees. She is dressed in a blue dress, her arms were covered with a fine lace net very well detailed by the artist. A shawl is put on a Empire chair back.

The painter raised of gold the comb, the necklace and the golden wooden frame of the portrait holding by the siter.

The accuracy of details and the touch give to think that this portrait could be doubtless given to Jean-Baptiste Couvelet's work.
