BOCQUET Anne-Rosalie (1752-1794), PORTRAIT OF A YOUNG LADY, 1787
Young woman's portrait in mauve dress and powder hair, signed and dated to the left : Bocquet 1787. Anne-Rosalie Bocquet was a painter, a pastellist and a miniaturist. Member of Saint-Luc's Academy in 1773, she became the friend of Louise Elisabeth Vigée-Le Brun. She died guillotined with her mother under the Revolution in 1794.TECHNIQUE:
