DESCRIPTION :

Rare group of seven miniatures portraits, all painted by Maximilien Villers circa 1789, for rings "marchionesses".

The whole was included in 1898 (dated inside the frame) in a set of three velvet frames. Under every portraits, in gilded frames and under glasses, the braided hair of each member of the family.

Over hair, a small label painted in gold on blue bottom, indicating the first names of each one. Letters are reflected as paused on a mirror so forming décoratifs friezes.

-Frame of 3 portraits : in the center Charlotte surrounded of Louise and  Thibault

-Frame of two portraits : Éléonore and Aimé (decorated with a cross of Saint-Louis)

- Frame with children : Louis and Charles


CONDITION: Perfect original condition.
